CHECKS AND BALANCES FROTHY FACE WASH

When it comes to faces with dry and oily places, it takes a clever cleanser to balance the two. This gentle, frothy face wash carefully does both jobs without canceling each other out. Broad Leaf Kelp Extract discourages excess oil production, while Wheat Protein balances and protects dry prone zones. And Tourmaline actually makes water wetter to more easily disperse dirt and sebum down the drain. There’s also aromatic Bergamot, Spearmint and Lavender to add pleasure to the process. Skin feels comfortably refreshed after cleansing, never tight, pulled or parched.

HOW TO USE: Squeeze small amount into palm, add tepid water to lather. Swirl over skin, steering clear of eyes. Rinse thoroughly. Great for A.M. and P.M. cleansing.

Checks and balances cleanser really works for my skin! A lot of other cleansers I've used in the past have either just not 'done anything' for me, or have caused my skin to break out. It truly does balance out the oily and dry areas of my combination skin! This cleanser doesn't make my skin feel tight or uncomfortable, and it's creamy foamy texture and lovely scent make it so nice to use. Definitely recommend it.

This cleanser is great for oily-combination skin and cleanse my skin without drying it! Also, it lasts for over 6 months given you only need a tiny amount each time.
I came across this product during a time of desperation. I have been looking for new cleanser and other skin care products and tried out a couple of products with devastating results! My face was red, raw and very sore to the touch especially around my eyelids, lips and cheeks.
I walked past kit Chadstone and a kit staff (Jo, she now works in kit Doncaster) put together a simple regime including this cleanser for me.
Within 2 days, the irritation calmed right down. Within a week, my skin was better than ever and I was back at kit Chadstone getting my hands on everything Jo recommended and gave her a BIG hug for saving my face!

I love everything about this cleanser. It smells amazing and feels lovely when it lathers up in your hands. You only need the tiniest amount so it lasts for ages. Your skin feels smooth and clean without being dry.

I recently got this cleanser and I really like it. I have very oily skin and I find that Checks and Balances does a really good job of cleaning my face, controlling the oil but not drying my skin out. It really does leave my skin feeling great.

I have struggled all my life to find a cleanser that works for my skin. I have an oily t-zone whilst the rest of my face is dry.
Most cleansers either leave me with pimples everywhere as they moisturise too intensely, or they dry out my skin, leaving it stretched and sore.
Then I found this cleanser.
It cleanses deeply, but leaves my skin feeling refreshed and renewed.
It smells beautiful & is kind to the environment.
My skin has never looked or felt better
What more could a girl ask for?!

This cleanser doesn't quite live up to its claims

I had high hopes for this product as the description seemed ideal for my combination skin. It has a nice texture and lathers well. However, I found it too drying for my skin. After washing my face, it was uncomfortably tight and squeaky so this product is a little harsh and not as gentle as it claims to be.

I absolutely love this Origins frothy cleanser as it balances my oily t-zone and dry cheeks effectively within a week of continual use (twice daily). The formulation of this cleanser includes aromatic Bergamot, Spearmint and Lavender, which makes this product smell and feel amazing! The product doesn't lather so well as I had thought, however, the thick pearly white consistency of the cleanser worked well to thoroughly cleanse my skin. Just use a small pea size amount for great results and it will last a very long time. This cleanser doesn't strip away the moisture from my skin and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight, instead it made my skin feeling minty soft, refreshed, revitalised and most importantly 'squeaky' clean. I am very satisfied with this cleanser and highly reccomend this product if your skin type is combination/oily.

I absolutely love this cleanser. I have purchased it 3 times now and will never use another cleanser. You only need to use the smallest amount and it makes your skin feel so clean and smooth, yet without feeling dry or tight. It smells delicious like spearment and foams up beautifully. I use it morning and night. Since using it i have noticed it has balanced out the oily vs dry areas of my skin, which i believe is its intention. I have tried other products in the past that claim to do this however only end up feeling to dry in the dry areas. I would highly reccomend this product to those who feel they have this skin type.

A little goes a long way

Although in my mid 40's, I have skin that's combination with a hyper-sensitive T-zone . I have no real dry patches, it's more an oily nose / chin area with normal cheek and forehead areas.
I've learnt to be very careful of what I put on my skin as my nose area can be very easily irritated
I've been using Checks & Balances for a month now, and am very happy with the results.
Make sure you use a tiny amount, a little goes a very long way. Using it for a month so far, my tube looks like I've not used any at all.
The silky, creamy, slightly thick texture feels indulgent on my skin when lathering and after. It cleanses thoroughly & most importantly doesn't irritate my skin in the slightest.
